How are you going to be a great poet,
When you've got no inspiration,
And you're tired, and it's late, and
Night after night your mind runs blank?
How is it you find yourself stuck on
That same old, worn-out theme, writer’s block,
When you should recall instead that glorious goddess
With whom you spent yesterday morning talking,
While on the grass, warmed all over, blessed by
The rays of an eleven-o’clock summer sun?
